The Lakes at Castle Hills is a private, full-service country club featuring an 18-hole championship golf course, aquatic center with resort-style swimming pool, tennis center and fitness/wellness center. Founded in 1999 as "The Golf Club at Castle Hills”, after an extensive golf course renovation in May of 2011, the course reopened September 2011 as a semi-private facility and the club's name was changed to The Lakes at Castle Hills. The Lakes received enthusiastic reviews and the facility was awarded Renovation of the Year by Avid Golfer. The Lakes, now a fully private, full-service country club, is known as the "home for championship golf” in North Texas.
The Lakes has hosted many PGA, state and regional tournaments as well as annual member tournaments including The Gauntlet Gentlemen's, The Queen’s Crown Ladies Invitational and The Quest for the Grail Gentlemen.
