THE BRIGHT FAMILY LEGACY

In 1952, the Bright family acquired the first piece of their property, later known as 'the farm' located northwest of Dallas and southeast of Denton. This land holds cherished memories of fishing trips and camping adventures, becoming a legacy for each family member.

"Bum" Bright, Bright Realty is the real estate development entity of Bright Industries.  Today, we specialize in both commercial and residential ventures with a focus on office, retail, mixed-use, multifamily, single-family and land brokerage in Lewisville, Texas. Our strategic location provides easy access to downtown Dallas, DFW International Airport and neighboring cities such as The Colony, Frisco, Plano and Carrollton.

Bright Realty is committed to completing the commercial development of the existing 300+ acres of the family farm. This includes expanding notable developments like The Realm at Castle Hills and Crown Centre at Castle Hills.

But our vision encompasses more—anticipating a future where we bring innovation, sustainability and community focus to projects outside Castle Hills. Through strategic partnerships and innovative development, we will be known nationwide as a premier developer of quality communities.

THE REALM

The Realm at Castle Hills, a 324-acre master-planned community, currently features 1,062 multifamily and 72 single-family units, more than 130,000 square feet of retail and over 235,000 square feet of office space. Upon build-out, The Realm at Castle Hills will feature another 500,000 square feet of office, another 500 to 750 multifamily units, 100 to 150-key hospitality and another 60,000 to 80,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment.

CROWN CENTRE

Centre at Castle Hills, upon full build-out, has the capacity for 3 million square feet of office space, 2,000 multifamily units and up to 500,000 square feet of retail and hospitality. The vision entails developing the land into a business park with mixed-use components. The development plan includes a gradual 20-year progression to full density. Strategically located at the intersection of State Highway 121 and FM 544/Parker Road, the Crown Centre development offers the best of both worlds: a unique workplace and an environment where employees can effortlessly shift from the dynamics of the office to an outdoor oasis.
