It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Clay Bright. Clay served as a member of Bright Realty's board of managers and managed the operations of Bright Industries. His work and vision in the development of Castle Hills, The Castle Hills Schools Foundation and American Legend Homes, as well as his work founding the Bright Capital Group, helped create the framework of what our companies are today and what we will be going forward. Clay had a unique ability to create strategies few others could come up with to achieve desired results.

Clay was a devout Texas Aggie, class of 1978, and served for years on various A&M boards with distinction and devotion. He was also involved in several local charitable organizations including the Boy Scouts of  America and served on the board of directors for Bright Industries, American Legend Homes, the Easterwood Foundation and The Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, golf and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Clay was most proud of, and will be missed greatly by, his four grown children, Stuart, Justin, Parker, and Ginger along with his wife Cher. He was also a doting "Pop" to his many grandchildren. Please keep Clay's family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
