The 51st Annual Bright Realty Golf Classic benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) held Monday, May 7 at The Lakes at Castle Hills was a "big" fundraising success. The event raised more than $186,000 for the local organization that provides children facing adversity with role models and mentors who will change their lives for the better.
Forty-four teams with 176 players participated in the event. Big winners in the morning round included 1st place finisher Crossland Construction; 2nd place finisher Universal Technical Institute; and 3rd place finisher Barnsco. Afternoon winners were the Gary Martin Team in first place; Bright Realty in second; and RKM Texas in third.
"This is the ninth consecutive year that Bright Realty has served as title sponsor for the event," said Chris Bright, CEO. "We are proud to support an organization that has such a direct and lasting effect on the lives of so many young people and pleased to host the event again this year at The Lakes."
